The I Learn Italian – The Treasure of the Letters course is an interactive course in which the learner can move through the alphabet and learn to write the letters. The course has a narrative and an instructional component.
The narrative component describes the life of a family who lives in a certain place and has a certain economic status. The family has a son who wants to go to university and study in Italy. In order to be able to study, the son has to pass a test. In the test, the son has to prove that he knows the Italian language.
The interactive component consists of a series of video lessons. Each video lesson has a narrative that describes a certain topic in the Italian language and it has a specific goal. For example, in the video lesson on the letter "M", the goal is to learn how to write the letter "M".
Each video lesson consists of the following elements:
1) A video in which the teacher shows a letter and reads it aloud.
2) The student has to answer a question.
3) The teacher shows a picture and the student has to write it.
4) The teacher reads the answer.
5) A dialogue between the teacher and the student.
6) A new video.
7) The same video is shown again.
